We may be going today...kind of stinks that it is the first rainy 'cold' day in a while. It was 89 like two days ago! We'll be pushing a 2 y/o around in a stroller.

Yeah, that's why we decided to go tomorrow. Sunday is supposed to be mostly sunny and 63. It's over a two hour drive for us (one way), so we want to make it count!

Weather isn't great but could be worse: yesterday in the southern part of Phoenix we had a massive hail storm for about 5-10 minutes in mid-afternoon, and remember that Tucson got hit with enough snow to postpone a golf tournament about 3 weeks ago. I can imagine that hail coming down in the middle of the festival; would be a big problem. Snow wouldn't be much better.

One of these years I'll make it to the Tucson Festival of Books, just not this time around.

I was there this morning. I got to spend a few minutes chatting with an old-time KBer, J. Carson Black.

We were there for about two hours or so. Luckily we got there just as the rain started drying up. Was a lot of fun -- Maybe next year we'll get a booth I can post some pics here later after my wife uploads them. The camera's battery was unexpectedly dead so they are all on her cell.

Would think about going tomorrow also but I have to work.
