I couldn't cope - you're a strong, strong woman!
It does?! Thanks for the heads up. Hey, if you don't mind my asking: how long does the L-fest usually go on? I always seem to miss it and it's the only time I like to go there.luvmy4brats said:Lobsterfest starts next Tuesday
You guys are way stronger then me, I could never sell my Kindle if I did not have another 6 inch e-ink device. If I did not have the PRS-505, I don't think I would have been able to cope. I was able to load all my new books to the Sony and just read from that.stargazer025 said:I emphathize with you, iluvmy4brats. I too am Kindle-less. It happened so fast that my head is spinning.
Came in yesterday morning and checked the Kindleboards. Realized there might be a market for K1's, and listed my Kindle by 10:30 on both the Kindleboards and Craigslist. Within 1.5 hours I had 3 calls and a formal offer to purchase for my selling price. And by 8:00 p.m. last night, my Kindle was gone.
I told the guy that bought it that I was going to go home and cry myself to sleep. Didn't actually cry, but I layed there for a while wonder just HOW I was going to cope until the K2 arrived.
I mean, come ON, I was nearing the end of Outlander and now I have to wait until Feb 25th to finish it. Sheesh!!
YEAH! I'm so happy for you and Edgar. Enjoy.Sariy said:Luv you will be happy to know that Edgar has arrived safe and sound. He is a little shy of his new owner but I bet he warms up very soon.
I even showed Edgar off at work to 3 ladies. They were all oooh-ahhh he's so handsome! I think 2 of them are going to be looking for K's themselves.
Thank you so much for allowing me to adopt!
