I emphathize with you, iluvmy4brats.  I too am Kindle-less.  It happened so fast that my head is spinning.

Came in yesterday morning and checked the Kindleboards.  Realized there might be a market for K1's, and listed my Kindle by 10:30 on both the Kindleboards and Craigslist.  Within 1.5 hours I had 3 calls and a formal offer to purchase for my selling price.  And by 8:00 p.m. last night, my Kindle was gone.

I told the guy that bought it that I was going to go home and cry myself to sleep.  Didn't actually cry, but I layed there for a while wonder just HOW I was going to cope until the K2 arrived.

I mean, come ON, I was nearing the end of Outlander and now I have to wait until Feb 25th to finish it.  Sheesh!!

Stargazer05, You're stronger than me. I synced several of my books to my daughter's kindle and picked up where I left off...and to sell it mid-Outlander? Oh my! I couldn't do it (and I've read it several times)
Luckily I've read before as well. I was reading it on my Kindle clear up until I met the buyer last night...didn't do laundry, didn't cook...nada.

LOL, you should have seen me combing through my *gasp* bookshelf this morning looking for my hardback version of Outlander. I found every subsequent book in the Outlander series, except for the first one....DRAT!!!! I think I loaned it to my boss's wife some time ago and never got it back. Ugh...
