I'm looking for two different artists for projects

Can you guys recommend/link me to some artists for two different projects?

First, I'm looking for someone who does sketch art of faces. I'm looking for more of a rougher, almost "sketch artist/mug shot" style. I do not want someone who draws giant boobs and watermelon butt cheeks.

Second, I'm looking for an artist who can do historical and fantasy covers. I'm not looking for cheap; I'm looking for good. Again, giant boobs and watermelon cheeks need not apply.

This is for two projects later in the year, but I'd like to start looking into and researching folks now so that I can chat with them, look at pricing, etc.

Thanks!

I used Matthew Potts for my map, and you can see his portfolio on his fiance's website

Ah!!! Thanks. That's really in the theme I'm looking for, complete with the comic panels. Perfect. That's exactly the kind of work I'm looking for.
Jen Broomhall (sp.?) On facebook is amazing. Wish i had the money to get a cover from her.
Do you have a link?
I highly recommend Tiziano: http://www.tizianobaracchi.com/

Also, Tom Edwards. He does more than just SF. :)
Chattin with a guy now... http://gentlemanbeggar.wordpress.com he's done some covers for Jim Mullaney, a pubbed author who used to ghost write the Destroyer series and now does his own stuff. Artist is nominated in this year's Pulp Awads for cover art.
For my fantasy books I commission Julie Dillon - http://www.juliedillonart.com/ (she did my lovely "Hunting" cover - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13456081-hunting ). She's kept busy with a lot of commissions though. (I find it tremendously exciting that she's doing the covers for the latest reissue of Susan Cooper's "Dark is Rising" series. She also does the Piers Anthony covers.)

She doesn't have a lot of examples in her gallery anymore, but you should definitely contact Slategreen. She's done a couple of colored sketches for me and is both awesome with faces and very much not into improbable anatomy. I can PM you an example or two if you're interested.

Other random suggestions from the enormous bookmark list: This might be a little too art nouveau for you, IDK; this might be a little too watercolor-y; and this might be a little too sketch-y.

And for fantasy and historical covers, I'll toss Suzanne Helmigh's name into the ring, as well as that of Danil Shunkov.
Thanks George! Those are all a great help!
