I'm new, and nervous!

Hi! I'm working on a writing project right now that I think will be a good match for self-publishing, and I've been told that Kindle Boards is the place to start with that ... so here I am! I'm Canadian, and I write in a variety of genres.

Hi, Becky, and welcome aboard.  Always nice to greet a fellow Canuck in our forum.  Glad to have you with us.  Wishing you every success with your writing.  By the way, there's absolutely nothing to be nervous about here.  Enjoy.

Hello, Becky. Welcome to the boards.:)
Welcome.  Tell us a little about the writing project you're working on.

John
I recently finished my first full length romance novel, which I'm going to sub to publishers, but I've also written a series of shorts, that I could sell individually and/or bundle. But I need to find an editor first. It's all so daunting!
Yes it is a long road.... As if writing the novel wasn't long enough.
It took me about two years to land a publisher. I was trying to get a publisher and an agent at the same time and got the publisher first....so I abandoned the agent search....for now.

I wish you great success. There are quite a few small publishing houses that look for romance titles. So I hope you find the right one.
