I hope I don't sound like a complete tool when I write this, but that would kind of depend on the page size that you start out with.
Image Dimensions
I'm experimenting with some children's books. Does anyone know the perfect image dimensions to get a full page picture?

I used Word 2003. Page size 8 1/2 by 11. 1 inch margins all around.
It was the same size as the text pages.
Use JPEG and insert into the document after a page or section break and do the break after you insert.
The images will resize to the page in Word.

The full screen image size is 600 x 1024 px. However, it all depends on how you format. If you use Adobe InDesign CS6 there is a page size for the Kindle Fire. The only way the book will fill the full screen (even if you use those dimensions) is if it is programmed as a KF8 fixed-layout book.
