Does anyone remember this magazine?

(I mean besides me.)

God, I miss this magazine.

Back in the day, it was, bar-none, THE place to get published if you liked horror. Even Stephen King was a frequent contributor. And it published a TON of fiction.

I am an aficionado of T.E.D. Klein's reign. Later he was replaced by Tappan King, but... this was the magazine I flooded with short story submissions throughout high school.

*sigh*

Memories...

I would love to stumble across some of those.  We have a citywide fundraising sale for local libraries here every year, and I always walk out with a giant sack of digests like this.  Mostly Analog and Asimovs, some dating as far back as the late '60s.

I remember seeing them in Waldenbooks as a kid, but I've never read one.
I'd almost go so far as to say this...

One of the last truly great horror/speculative fiction magazines of the print/newsstand era...
