I've been in the park today and it got me thinking about my favourite, most inspirational places.

So I've started a thread on my blog, martinlake.blogspot.com asking people to share their favourite places where the muse is awaiting them.

Well I would have to say my favorite inspired place is mainly by the water. I have a thing for water. I can go along the river front sit back on my favorite bench or lay out on the grass. I love the birds chirping the sound of the roaring water as it flaps back and forth. The trees swaying in the wind, the little flowers clothed in their beautiful bright clothes dancing around. This is where I also enjoy reading and if I could only be there now.  That inspired me just to think about those moments. Ahhh refreshing.

In my garden, I can hear all of nature calling to me and leading me to write.  It lets me be quiet for a moment, especially early in the morning with a cup of coffee

These posts just go to show that inspiration strikes different people in different places.  So I've no excuse for not writing now!
