Don't sweat the decorations. If anyone gives you grief tell them you are getting a jump on Christmas 2013!Sapphire said:Christmas decorations are screaming at me to be packed away for another 11 months.

I love this! No way I'll convince hubby though. My adult kids and grandkids would laugh their head off, and think I had finally lost it. Nevertheless, it would save time in December. Pretty much. Or hanging around until the morning brain fog clears and we can get to work.Dalya said:The relevant information may be found in page 1 of any thread. Anything beyond page 2 is simply entertainment.

Don't bash on 13 -- the psychic I visited in Sedona (don't judge...it was for research purposes. Ahem) said that 13 is a very misunderstood number and actually represents change and unconventional thinking. Sounds like the perfect number for this group!KevinMcLaughlin said:It is TOTALLY "2012 plus one", not...that other number.![]()
I was born on the 13th, married on the 13th, had my first child on the 13th. My 13th birthday fell on Friday, the 13th. Hubby was born on the 14th at 5 minutes past midnight. I have to believe he was meant to be another 13 in my life. (He does tend to run about 5 minutes late most of the time.) So, I consider 13 a lucky number. Now I have to think about that idea of change and unconventional thinking. People who know me well would argue with that. On the other hand, I'm still evolving, and I am a rather independent soul (stubborn could be another word).ChristinePope said:Don't bash on 13 -- the psychic I visited in Sedona (don't judge...it was for research purposes. I trained my family early. Christmas decorations do not come down until it's time to put up Easter decorations.Sapphire said:I love this! No way I'll convince hubby though. 13 has always been a lucky number for me. Now I get a whole year of it.ChristinePope said:Don't bash on 13 -- the psychic I visited in Sedona (don't judge...it was for research purposes. My wedding anniversary is on the 13th, too!Sapphire said:I was born on the 13th, married on the 13th, had my first child on the 13th. My 13th birthday fell on Friday, the 13th. It's been at least two or three days since I called someone a name. I figure I'm up for sainthood.Dalya said:I SWEAR we had a thread last week or so congratulating us all for not getting worked up and having civil threads.
(I admit I feel guilty, because there was a thread where some people, including me, called someone a name.)
