Is this on the up and up, or a phishing scam dargeting KDPers?

Pretty sure it's legit; I got one, too. The links are good.

That's the e-mail you get from Kindle Direct Publishing after your final file has been uploaded and you've finished the process. It goes out after the book has finished review and changes from "Publishing" to "Live" on your KDP bookshelf. When it talks about linking to the book's physical counterpart, that only applies if there is one, whether it's CreateSpace or some other version, and you have to request that link. But yeah, if you published a book through KDP, that e-mail is on the up and up. If you didn't... I'd say someone did, under your e-mail address.
I had another one just the same yesterday, for my fourth short story. Why would you thing it's phishing?
Thanks for the 411 guys!

I was suspicious because I didn't get one for Unearthing or Never Mind...but following your lead(s) I went ahead and filled out all the necessary processes.

Did you publish directly with KDP for Unearthing? If you didn't get an Amazon confirmation email, it probably went into your spam folder.
Author Central is a handy way to aggregate your books on one single Amazon page and add a little personal touch. It's not a scam, don't worry :)
I think it is geniune, I got the same email when I put my book up - I don't think you have anything to worry about.
