Good luck!

Yesterday was my birthday and today is my special good luck day, and I'm having an incredible run of good fortune! After being turned down many many times, BookBub finally said yes. I hope the good luck spreads to you as well, Adrian!

Happy Birthday and thanks for the good wishes. My permafree has been accepted before, but that's no gurantee when it comes to Bookbub. Just have to wait and see.

Today is the official release day for my first book ever!! It's kicking off better than I could have ever hoped! *meaning the book hasn't flatlined yet :p * And I'll keep my fingers crossed for your Bookbub application!

Today is my birthday. I have always considered 13 my lucky number. Would you believe my 13th birthday fell on a Friday the 13th? Not only was I born on a 13, I was also married on a 13, and our first child was born on a 13. My husbands's birthday is on a 14, but he was born five minutes after midnight. I explain it by saying he was meant to be another 13 in my life, and he's just been 5 late minutes for everything.


This morning I'm working on a problem blurb and will do a little writing. This evening my husband is taking me out to dinner. It's far more than a birthday celebration. We are celebrating his successful quadruple bypass only three weeks ago today and having completed the second leg of his recovery process. This is the best birthday present ever!

Saphire, that is amazing about all the 13s in your life, and wonderful news about the successful surgery and recovery! You're right, what a fantastic birthday! Tell your hubby to keep up that phenomenal recovery work and that we're rooting for him here on kboards! And happy birthday :)

I'm going to laugh in the face of superstition and write the blurb for my upcoming thriller, Stiletto. After that, I'll do the TOC and get 4 different copies ready for 4 different retailers.

Today marks a month since I went full time. :D Where has the time gone??

Speaking of Friday the 13th birthdays, both of my grandpas and my dad were all born on the 13th of different months. Neither of my sons were born on a 13th, so I guess I broke that.

Yesterday I edited a book and sent it off to the proofreader -- and got my new phone and had to deal with that. Today I'm making corned beef and cabbage, watching as many Friday the 13th movies as I can fit in and doing some spring cleaning. I start a new book Monday.

Happy Birthdays all around.
Now what am I going to do today.  Spend hubby's entire paycheck and some more.  Or in other words pay all the bills.  Also laundry (done), dishes (soaking), and take the trash out (done and the dog helped with that one.)
