Not sure if anyone has print versions of their ebooks, but I have a question regarding my book cover, which KDP is rejecting.

You can see the cover, which I've made partially transparent so you can see the underlying template, here: https://pasteboard.co/JyYrS3Q.jpg

But when I upload it to KDP and look at the preview, it looks like this: https://pasteboard.co/JyYt40Y.png - As you can see, the spine text goes beyond the spine.

I've emailed KDP about this, and the answer I got was: "Cover
Make sure all text on your front cover is at least 0.375" (9.5 mm) from the cover's edge. This helps to ensure the text isn't cut during manufacturing.
Reduce the size of your spine text in your cover file. Spine text needs at least 0.0625" (1.6 mm) space on either side so that it doesn't wrap onto the front or back cover"

Your cover art must completely cover the pink zones. In the first image, it doesn't. So my guess is KDP stretched your cover to the correct dimensions, which threw everything else off.

Try a cover template from https://www.bookow.com/resources.php#cs-cover-template-generator and make sure that all text and live elements are fully inside the white areas and that your background art goes all the way to the outer edges of the pink areas.

Those pinks areas are covered. I just turned that black color layer covering those sections transparent so you could see the template underneath.

What's the difference between the Amazon's templates and Bookow?

I think what "Shayne" said is correct. You have only problem with the width size. If you ask from a print for your book you will notes that the back cover is fine. The spine a bit overlay,  and the right side of the front cover is cut it.

The KDP templates come in 10-page ranges, so they're not necessarily exactly the right size for your page count. The Bookow templates are built on the fly (programmatically) so are built *exactly* for your page count.
