Kdp question.

I have a sample of my writing on KDP Select (about 11,000 words in length) and I know it had said somewhere in their agreement that I could not have the stories available anywhere else on the internet.

Well, I was curious if I can still include the sample version into a larger volume of short stories on Amazon and Createspace (for a physical book) with no problems from Amazon? If so, is it then possible to have the sample go to perma-free? Thanks!

The only way to go permafree is to have Amazon price match to another vendor -- so I'm going to say no. If you have something in Select it can't be anywhere else. Period.

Okay, barring the perma-free situation. Can I still combine the stories into the larger volume if it's still going to only be available on Amazon? I accidently left my KDP Select on auto renew when I had other plans. In my mind it's still only in one spot: Amazon.
You can have a story that in Select in a bundle/collection that's not in Select, but it must only be on Amazon. So, no it can't be perma-free.

You can do whatever you want with print books, as the Select agreement is only for digital content.
