KDP Select newbie question

When do we find out what December's borrow rate will be?

This was my first month in Select, so I've always paid no attention to what point in the month they announce the previous month's rate. Is it the 15th, like with spreadsheets?

It'll be on your monthly spreadsheet on the 15th.  At least that's where it was last month.
Every day is a new adventure here in the land of Zon.
I didn't have many borrows pre-December so I kind of stopped paying attention...but I *think* we find out in the monthly KDP newsletter. You would also find out when you get your monthly report on the 15th. Which of those two comes first, I'm not sure.

Hopefully someone with a better memory will step in...
Doesn't Amazon often tweet the figure a few days in advance of the 15th, too?
I'm really excited to see what the rate will be. This is just a 99 cent short story collection, but I had 122 borrows on it (!!!!), which is just crazy.
wow! I was proud of my 1 a day for 12 days LOL
I know, it's insane. I keep checking my report just to make certain it was real and I didn't make it up. LOL

I didn't have a single borrow for the first month that it was in Select, and then 122 in the last week of the month.
Ok, another question: Do most borrows come at the end of the month? Do people put it off till the last second?
I'm really curious, too, since I had more than 220 borrows on my new release.

Here's hoping they do Tweet it a few days early!

I always get a flury of borrows at the start of each month (130 so far in Jan.), then it slows down, but then picks back up at the end of the month, when I suspect that many Prime members remember to use their 1 borrow.

That's what I was guessing. Thanks.
