A while back I placed an order for the Kindle 1.  I also ordered Amazon Kindle ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector and a 1 of: Tuff-Luv Executive Classic Leather case cover (PINK) as well as the M-edge e-Luminator Booklight for Amazon Kindle.  Received all of the accessories.  WHen the Kindle 2 was announced I decided to go ahead and upgrade.  Does anyone know if the accessories I purchased for my Kindle 1 will work with my Kindle 2.  I am most curious about the Tuff-Luv leather case cover.  Help?!

Unfortunately the Kindle 2 has different dimensions than the Kindle 1. The Kindle 2 is slightly taller and much thinner, so it will most likely not fit well in any cases designed for the original Kindle. The booklight will work just fine, as will the screen protector providing the screens are the same dimensions.

I thought as much, but I haven't been paying very close attention to the media regarding the Kindle 2.0 so I didn't want to say for sure because I wasn't certain.

The screen is the same size, so a screen protector for Kindle 1 will work perfectly on Kindle 2. All other accessories will not fit.
