I signed up for a Kindle Deal Nomination twelve days ago. If selected the deal would run at some point during 1-Jul-2023 - 31-Jul-2023. The terms say my list price must remain the same for 30 days before, during, and after for at least 7 days after the Kindle Deal. Then it says: If we decide to go ahead with the promotion, we'll send you a notification to confirm that your title(s) have been selected.
Anybody know--roughly--how long they take to contact you? Because I lose a lot of pricing flexibility in a situation like the Kindle Deal runs say July 31th. If that's the case, I can still do discounts or use free days (the book is in KDP Select) through all of June. Plus the sales of the book they've selected has been in a slight decline lately. I wonder if that is going to influence their choice. And also there was no mention whether it was a daily or monthly deal my book was being considered for.
