Kindle doesn't recognize any book or pdf

Hey guys!

My kindle stopped to recognize books or pdf. Earlier today, the icons were all there, but when I enter in any book, the device shows a "Kindle" logo. So I restarted and now the icons does not appears in the carrousel or menus, but they still there, accessing through PC.

What is that?

Are you looking for them under "Documents"?

It sounds like this is a Fire, since s/he mentioned the carousel.

No, in Books menu.

That's right, is a Kindle Fire First Generation.

Have you checked to make sure your wi-fi connection is working?

Well, my PDFs show up under "Docs", so try looking there...
