And to think I used to be the tech guy who always had the latest gadget. One of the first to get a computer, one of the first to have a video recorder, one of the earlies Direct TV subscribers, and I've never text messaged or looked at Twitter. I must be so old I'm lucky I can still walk.Xia said:Oh, dear... now I know I'm old. I have no idea what twitter is. Ack!
Wow - are you doing this just through the browser function?Seamonkey said:I found out today I can access my Twitter account and POST from the Kindle!
TweetDeck is another good one (Windows, Mac, and Linux) -- and it alerts you to new Facebook status updates, too!wilsondm2 said:Oh and for those with macs - Tweetie is an awesome Twitter client
and for those with windows OR macs - Seesmic desktop runs on Adobe Air and is awesome as well!
Your cell? I don't do the cell, but I know it's fairly easy. You go to device under settings on your twitter home page. have it send your cell a text (enter 1<areacode><number>) in the box - then i think you reply to the text and you are good to go. You then just send texts to the number they give you and the texts are sent out as tweets. Now to receive posts you again go to device settings on tweet and tell it to send posts to your device. then you can also go to individual followers and turn them on or off to send posts to device.MarthaT said:Im having a difficult time setting mine up to post on twitter![]()
