I picked a legal thriller by an author I'd never heard of before. I read it and it was excellent. The book without KU was $10 and I'd never have paid $10 for a book I knew nothing about written by an unknown author and I realized I hadn't considered KU as a way to try out books like this so I stayed with it.

What book was this? Now you have me curious.

BTW, does anyone else have an offer for six months of KU for $30 or is that YMMV?

Is that the lowest a membership has gone, or are there better deals on Black Friday?

That book does look good. It's not on KU anymore, so I'm price-tracking it.
