Hello,

I just want to announce you a web application that I am developing, this serves to read the news from your Google Reader account via the Kindle web browser, the goal is provide simple, lightweight, colorless user interface to fit best possible to the Kindle user experience.

You can access the application by opening the web browser on your Kindle and entering the following address:

http://kindlenewsletter.com

To use it, just press the button that says Sign-In with Google and Google will prompt you to give permission to the application to access your Google Reader data. Please note that KindleNewsletter uses a technology called OAuth2 to login with your Google account, this means, essentially, that the application will not store your password information in any way nor can access any Google service than Google Reader. For more information, see here https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2

Since KindleNewsletter still can not add, delete, manage feeds or categories (for now), should be addressed to the official Google app to do it https://www.google.com/reader

Please note that the application is in a beta phase, so any errors they find or improvements that can be made, will be appreciate if you notify here https://github.com/eagleoneraptor/kindlenewsletter/issues

For more information on how to contribute KindleNewsletter, you can see here http://kindlenewsletter.com/contribute

I hope you enjoy the application.
Greetings.

Will you be using another RSS aggregator now that Google Reader is being discontinued.
I see no other way out.

Making KindleNewsletter a feed aggregator itself is not a possibility, it requires too much infrastructure, complexity, and, with the scope that I think for this application (mainly own use hehe) I think not worth it. And another thing that I want to users is that they can synchronize KindleNewsletter with their favorite feed reader on other devices, as it does now.

From what little I saw so far, what convinces is Feedly, it will provide a Google Reader compatible API through the Normandy project (I like that name :)). But I think I wait some time to check the user likes.

Any suggestion are welcome.
