Know how you can tell I'm on deadline?

I'm sitting cross-legged on my couch typing on my laptop, with an open bag of Lucky Charms on my lap, just eating straight out of the bag.

And I just realized I've finished half of the bag.

I do the same thing with Bacardi light.
Oreos, cupcakes, Rainbow Delight cookies.
I do it with potato chips. It's true what they say about those things. You can't eat just one.
Swedish fish and gluten free pretzels. Don't ever try try the pretzels. YOU. WILL. NEVER. STOP.

Yes! Half a handle can sneak up on you.
Used to be Pringles, now it's chocolate cake flavored tea. That's got to be a step in the right direction... right?

Tell me about it! I can demolish a party sized bag of pretzels without even realising it!

Have to say though, I haven't even heard of half of the food on this thread! ???
Ice cream. Lots of it.

Then there is also the problem of staying up all night and forgetting to shower.
Coffee. Way too much. Once I'm jittery I switch to almost caffiene free tea from Teavana. Youthberry mixed with wild orange blossom or precious white peach.
Hot chocolate and a lot of tea with cookies.

That is my deadline food usually, which I always stock up on right before essay hand in time :p
Popcorn!
Jägermeister, hummus, and/or Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

Sometimes merlot.

Nice. Do you chill yours?

Yes. It is my favorite.
I got hooked on writing while drinking Calimochos with my first novel in 2005.

I met up with some friends and told the barista I wanted red wine but needed to stay awake. He mixed 1/2 red wine and 1/2 coke and I've been drinking it ever since. There are four places in town that when I walk in the door, they automatically mix it for me.

Hmm. Maybe not a good thing, eh?
I cannot drink booze and write. I always thought there was something wrong with me. Like I'm not a real writer. I mean, don't get me wrong, I can drink when I'm done...but not during.
