My crystal ball tells me that Tues. 9/20/11 will be the magic day.

I think it will be sooner.  Amazon would want their tablet to be available as a back-to-school gift, so I'm guessing they'd want to release it before September.

Plus, Amazon's already started hiring hundreds of people in new "order fulfillment centers" around the country.  So Amazon obviously expects a big spike in orders very soon, and I predict the tablet will be released on:  July 1 of 2011.

July 28 will be the announcement date, with Aug 28 being the released date.

I hope you guys are correct as I would prefer to see it come out sooner rather than later. I still think it will be Sept. before Amazon will have ample supplies to introduce the new item.

I hope it's soon, but I'm guessing it'll be well and truly in place and ready for the run up to Christmas!
