What I liked most was the setting. This novel really gets after the roaring 20s. Tommy guns, flappers, tin lizzies, etc. And it takes some unexpected turns. By the middle, I was really into all the characters and when all the gangster violence got going I was riveted.kansaskyle said:Based on the thread title, I thought it might be about a gangster doing good things!
