I have the Oberon red Ginkgo and I would say it is more of a deep red. Heinz ketchup red does fit it perfectly. It is very close to the Amazon cover burgundy red. It is a beautiful, rich red and spoiled me for any other reds.
I have a m-edge in red and it is not as deep. If you have a dog - it is the same red as a kong. It is an OK red - not too bright but not washed out either and more of what I think of as a true red.
