Hi, I've just launched three blogs: http://www.lovethyauthor.com, http://lovethyteenauthor.blogspot.com and http://lovethychristianauthor.blogspot.com, and I'm looking for self-published/small press authors with books priced free or 99c to feature. All the big publishers are offering free or 99c books on Kindle as a way to attract readers, and I think it's a good way for indie authors to go as well. If readers like your first book, they'll definitely be willing to pay more for the second. What do others think?
The requirements to feature are:
1. First and foremost we are looking for well-written books with a great story. Your book also needs:
2. An attractive front cover.
3. Professional editing for grammar and spelling errors.
4. An enticing description on the Amazon Kindle site (with no spelling mistakes).
5. Your book must also be either free or priced 99c. If you have more than one book on Kindle, it is suggested that you offer the first book for free. This allows readers to become familiar with your work and if they like it, they will be more than happy to pay for the next one.
6. No hard-core violence/gore or erotica.
Anyway, if you are interested, go to the relevant blog and submit your book via the 'For Authors' tab (it's free, by the way).
Thanks so much guys! You're the future of publishing!
