I've asked this on other threads, but I'll ask you too...

What do you think of the thickness of the Prodigy.  The spine is 1 inch thick but the Kindle is so thin.  The prodigy has an extra half inch of nothing.  How does that make the top cover fit, doesn't it make it a little loose or bulky?

I hope this is not a dumb question, but where does the m-edge compatible light go?
Certainly not a dumb question...
There is a pocket under the Kindle, near the top. You can see the pocket on htucker's 4th picture. the light has a long flat plastic piece that slide securely into that pocket and then the light lays flat along the spine, laying just to the left of the Kindle while you read. When you want to use the light you just bend it into the position you want.

In this picture you can see the light and the pocket that the flat plastic part slides into.

htucker it looks like you can cut off the 2 corner straps if one do chose to do so. Is that a correct assuption? Does the hinge sure it without the straps like the Amazon cover?
Lilly - the Prodigy uses the hinge on the left and two corner straps on the right (it does not have four). It's the Executive that has no hinge and uses four corner straps.

The hinge will hold is securely into the cover, the corner straps will just keep it from flopping forward a little bit and hold it firmly against the back cover.

Thanks Kim. I see the 2 corner straps, that's why I was asking if it's secure if you cut them off. I have a Sony PRS-505 and I don't mind flopping. I hate the straps period and will have to cut them off if I buy one, so I was checking if it's secure without them.
If you went strapless, it would probably be similar to the Amazon hinged cover. I have that cover and it is seems very secure. My Kindle has no problems going strapless.
