I just received an email from gmail about their new mass mail service, Mailking. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts? Red flags? I haven't heard anything about a beta? Was there one? Were there glitches?

I'm kind of intrigued, and may be giving it a go.

Unless Gmail recently acquired Mailking, it is not part of Gmail or Google. It sends through Gmail, but it isn't actually part of Gmail. (And if you have your on self-hosted ESP, you can send through gmail too.., so they aren't offering something new and exciting.) Just do a search for Mailking and check out what it offers and its pricing and decide if it's better than your current email service provider.
