Ellen, I'm pretty blown away. I had a lot of help in the form of great reviews from a handful of popular blogs plus the self-publishing announcement. I thought I'd be ecstatic if I got a few hundred sales in May after uploading, but I actually passed the 2000 mark last night.
Go figure.
