Like Geoff said, there are too many friends from across the years to list.  From a WWII Memorial outside of Westminster Abbey:

                                                      When You Go Home
Tell Them of Us and Say
                                                      For Your Tomorrow
                                                    We Gave Our Today

God Bless the men and women of our Armed Services and give wisdom to the men and women who make the decisions that affect all our lives.

For my late father, Garould Fairhead, who served in the US Navy during WWII, aboard the destroyer USS Maddox.  To Jarred Monroe serving in Iraq.  To all those who have served or are serving their country, thank you.  May God bless each of you and keep you in safety and health.
