This is the one night I ask all my children to be home. tomorrow they go where ever but tonight is my night, so they leave the sibling rivaley at the door and play nice.

And to my new friends here may you have a wonderful Holiday.  thank you for all you have done.

Merry Christmas, tessa!

Christmas Eve is our night for feasting, too. We have a dinner of fancy appetizers, and end the day with a re-watching of It's A Wonderful Life.

Right now the kids are playing outside in the snow. We're trying to wear them out so that they sleep tonight.

Hi Tessa,

Merry Christmas to you. Thanks for that lovely greeting!

Have a wonderful evening with your family.

Tonight it's just the four of us, eating the world's biggest roast beef, yorkshire pudding, peas (for me), broccoli for everyone else, watercress salad and Friendly's Jubilee Roll for dessert.

Oh, and creamed onions! But I better get moving on getting this food organized or else we'll be eating ham and cheese sandwiches. LOL

Food is right.

We eat every night at 7:30 pm. That's our routine.

At 4:30, my husband starts asking, "When is dinner?" I tell him, the usual, 7:30. He wants to eat at 6 because...(wait for it) somehow he missed lunch. Ai yi yi.

I told him, you can't rush the roast beef. It will be ready when it's ready.

We've had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of Boston Market, and now we're just about ready to leave for the Christmas Eve service.

Merry Christmas everyone! :)

We were considering ordering from the casinos. They offering catering for the holidays (eight-ten person meal three-four courses is 80bucks)...its cheaper and quicker, but we settled for filipino and hawaiian food for christmas. I was supposed to help cook like I mentioned before....I'm hiding by volunteering to 'clean'. Actually I'm on the internet surfing around

We had Sam's Club Rotisserie chicken for dinner.  I should have brought some home for the kitten.

I'm kitty-sitting because Santa is bringing my granddaughter a kitten for Christmas.  We all know that Santa doesn't come until nice little girls and boys are snug in their beds, so Angel/Diego/Crystal (she hasn't decided yet) is here with me for a while longer.

He was up at 5:00am, so after running around all morning, we were both ready to settle in for a long winter's nap.  He's sleeping on my slippers right now ... so cute.

VA, I can relate to your family.  Whenever mine get together, I want to lock myself in the bathroom.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
