I'm thinking of putting a message on my website geared towards parents/teachers/carers of teens.

A couple of times I've had the reaction in a review that the book should be a must read for not just troubled teens but anyone who is close to them (pretty great compliment to be honest).
I'm now thinking of also slightly marketing those groups, mainly by putting a message on my website (just a separate page) that explains the intentions of the trilogy and also explaining some of the themes (and lack of sex) that run through the story.

Reviews seem to indicate that that might be a focus group that I hadn't thought of that might actually be interested and with the control some parents have over what their kids read it seems like something that I might have originally overlooked to address.

Who has done this before? Good or bad idea?
