Since I've known about the Kindle last spring, I have never met anyone else who owns one.
While in my hairdressers chair today reading while the color on my hair did its job, I notice a woman in the next chair reading a huge (I mean 3-4" thick) hardback book. She looked over at my Kindle and said, "Don't you just love that thing?" Turns out she is a K1 and K2 owner. She asked me a question about how to deregister her Kindle to give it to her nephew.
Don't know what her huge book was but she said it wasn't available for Kindle and she had to read it for a class and couldn't wait to get her hands back on her K2. I know how she felt
