MY BOOK IS UP!!!

okay, sorry, deep breath...

My book is up in the Kindle Store.  :)

I joined this forum not too long ago as a totally green newbie, and thanks to so many of you I gradually learned what's what. There's a lot of generosity and inspiration and advice and, yeah, fun to be found in this place.

Thank you.

"My book is alive" The heading of this topic would make a good horror story . . . especially if it has teeth and stares at you from the bookshelf. ;D
I thought it was a riff on a Gary Wright song. :p

Congratulations on getting your book up and running! I hope you have a lot of success with it.

Rebecca, thanks! I'll join you in that wish ;) Glad you like the new cover...courtesy of J.Simmons Illustrations.

Wendy, thanks and wow! I sure appreciate that (and really hope you enjoy the read). Whatever success I achieve will be in no small part thanks to the amazing people here.

cidney, thanks! You know, I hadn't even thought about my profile pic when I updated the sig line to include the book. I chose the pic when I joined Kindleboards, in part to kick myself out into the open (my avatar on previous writer sites was a rock). But yes, the pic is apt today. Exactly how I feel.

kookoo, thanks! and ;D!! Well, I have had nightmares in which my book featured prominently...especially during the umpteenth revision.

Vicki, thanks! It is an incredible feeling. And then there's the furtive I-can't-believe-I'm-checking-this-again feeling when I stalk my sales figures.

alan, thanks! Totally agree about the cover--I'm counting on that baby to catch some readers. 8)

greenpen, thanks! Can sure use some luck.

Thanks John! It was a bit of an effort (um, cough, formatting) but the result is worth it. (goes to find out who Gary Wright is...)

Ilyria, thanks! I have eight so far! and not all family... ;D

I'm already obsessing over sales but now I see I should be tracking rankings...

I notice that people can find their ranking within categories--how does one do this?

Thanks.
