OK, this is minor minor minor for most of you, but...
Sometime between Friday night when I low-teched it for Shabbat, and tonight when I checked in...
Someone bought a copy of Most Likely on Amazon and I have no idea where the sale came from!
I mean, I can usually trace the source of my handful of sales so far.
Someone will tell me, "Oh I bought yours today" and within a couple hours at most, it'll show up on my sales report.
Or I'll do a big social media post and a sale might pop up... I don't know who, but I know it probably came from that push.
But I've been observing the Sabbath and totally offline over the past, say, 30 hours... and I got a sale without actually doing something to create awareness!
For the first time!
Sure, I haven't sold tons yet; I sold 5 on Amazon and 1 on Nook in May. In June so far, I've sold 5 on Amazon US, and 2 on Amazon UK.
So, 13 paid copies total in just under a month of release. Not huge, but not shabby, either.
But I'm more thrilled about my first "where in the heck did that sale come from" sale than I am about the 12 others I worked hard to earn! If that makes any sense...
I'm suspecting my PR efforts leading up till now might be the culprit... and that'd be cool!
A nice omen, I think, going into my week-long blog tour this Monday... Yay!
