Need to hit publish tonight... But blurb sucks. Help?

I need to hit the publish button late this evening, or early in the morning. I have my files ready to go, but I'm stuck in blurb hell. I'm hesitant to use my original blurb, because I feel it's too long (although, it's the one that most clearly states what the book is about). If you have time, I would love your advice. I've posted four different blurbs.

Bad Reputation is a New Adult romance based on the 1782 classic, Dangerous Liaisons. The book has many twists and turns, and it's not certain until the end who she's going to end up with, but it's also not a love triangle. It's weird. ???

Option A.) (Barely touches on the love interest, but is short and sets up the plot)

On the verge of college graduation, Apple Malloy finds herself entangled in one last game of manipulation, deceit and sexual corruption. Apple makes a bet with her ex-lover, and constant enabler, Brick Valmont. The bet? That she can seduce the professor who had failed her the semester prior. If Apple emerges victorious, Brick will be forced to admit she's better at these cruel games they play. If she loses, she must sleep with Brick one last time before graduation.

Bad Reputation is the first book in the Bad Reputation series, and is loosely based on the 1782 classic novel, Dangerous Liaisons.

Option B.) (Short also, but adds more of Jensen into the mix).

On the verge of college graduation, Apple Malloy finds herself entangled in one last game of manipulation, deceit and sexual corruption. Her ex-lover, and constant enabler, Brick Valmont offers her a bet she can't refuse. The bet? Apple must sleep with the most unattainable man on campus--the enigmatic Professor Jensen Moon. He destroyed her GPA last semester, and now her goal is to destroy his reputation.

But Jensen isn't the man she thinks he is, and he throws a grenade into her carefully laid plans. Soon, Apple realizes it is she who might face the worst fate of all... She falls in love. He treats her like there may be something worth saving underneath all the lies and barbed wire attitude.

If she wins, she destroys the man she's falling in love with. If she loses, Apple has to take back her ex-lover. It's a no-win situation for a girl with a bad reputation.

Bad Reputation is the first book in the Bad Reputation series, and is loosely based on the 1782 classic novel, Dangerous Liaisons.

Option C.) (My personal favorite, but probably too long)

She knows better. She just doesn't care.

Apple Malloy is a woman scorned. Scorned by a society that has shamed her, and scorned by the men who have claimed her. On the verge of college graduation, Apple finds herself entangled in one last game of manipulation, deceit and sexual corruption with her former lover, and constant enabler, Brick Valmont.

Apple sets her sights on Jensen Moon-the enigmatic professor who had failed her the semester prior-and vows revenge. She'll make him fall in love with her, and then break his heart, leaving his reputation destroyed in the process.

Brick makes her a wager she can't refuse.

If Apple can seduce Jensen before Brick can sleep with Tyra Young, the beautiful, innocent daughter of a sitting U.S. Senator, then she will emerge victorious. If she wins, she gets the satisfaction that she has beaten him at his own game. If she loses, she must sleep with Brick one last time before heading separate ways.

Apple is a pro at this. She knows how to maneuver men and wrap them around her finger. She knows how to get what she wants, but Jensen tosses an unexpected grenade into her path to victory. Soon, she realizes it is she that might face the worst fate of all.

She falls in love.

Jensen has a power over Apple and it terrifies her. He can make her feel things. He can make her heart race. He might be the only one capable of saving her soul before it's too late. But one thing is certain-nobody escapes unscathed in this titillating story of manipulation where nothing is as it appears.

Bad Reputation is the first book in the Bad Reputation series, and is loosely based on the 1782 classic novel, Dangerous Liaisons.

Option D.)

Apple is a pro at this. She knows how to wrap men around her finger and when she sets her sights on the enigmatic Jensen Moon, she knows he doesn't stand a chance against her charms. She'll make him fall in love with her, then break his heart, leaving his reputation destroyed in the process.

But when the game changes, and Apple begins to fall for her target, a high-stakes game is kicked into overdrive. The only thing that's certain is that even bad people fall in love...

Not caring for any of them really.
I agree. They're all too long and too specific. Go with something a little more vague, but also intriguing. Besides the main character's, you don't need to include names, and you don't really need to include every detail about how these people affect her (as in, JUST "ex-lover" and JUST "professor who failed her"). Maybe end the blurb with a question that makes the reader feel the need to buy the book and read more! Good luck and congratulations on publishing another book!
Haha, crap!

I'll have to work on a new blurb tonight! They are so hard to write. Much more difficult than writing the actual book, for me anyway.
So...because playing around with blurbs is becoming a hobby of mine  :D... I took some bits and pieces from your 3 options.

It could be tighter, and I'm not sure I like the fact that I've got the word "reputation" in both the first and third paragraphs.  But this is what I came up with on short notice.

Good luck tonight.  Sounds like an interesting read!

I like Option A best.  It's definitely better than Option C, which (yes) is too long.  I think Option A describes the character, the setting, and the conflict well.  You don't need to know the personality of the romantic interest; the main character's conundrum is interesting enough to be sufficient.
I'm working on a new blurb, and will post what I come up with. If I had the money, I'd pay someone a good thousand dollars for an amazing blurb.  :p
