The Devolution Chronicles: Passage to Niburu by Gary Wayne Clark

What if there was a world where man no longer reigned and evolution ran backwards? There is such a world, and it's closer than you think.

Marooned on planet Niburu, a disgraced fighter pilot turned Bounty Hunter, Commander Zacary Ryker, must choose between revenge and protecting a band of human castaways as he reluctantly leads them and their genetically engineered Chimera mercenaries against his nemesis and a brutal race of aliens.

When Commander Ryker discovers an assassin that murdered his family is among the passengers and has thrown in with the dimetrodons, he's torn between his thirst for revenge and avoiding extermination. Fighting to survive, his crew stumbles upon an ancient time portal and their destiny becomes intertwined with the dangerous liaison of a Shakespeare quoting Chimera, a teenage femme fatale and her telepathic wolf-dog shaman as they are plunged into an alternate reality where the law of evolution has run astray. Little do they know that they are about to be drawn into a larger struggle, a struggle beyond their universe, an epic battle… for the Multiverse.

About the Author - Gary Wayne Clark is an engineer by training, a venture capitalist by trade, but a storyteller at heart. He lives in California and Colorado with his wife and the spirit of his shapeshifting interspecies translator, a telepathic Great Dane named Raz.

Gary,

Welcome to KindleBoards and congratulations on your book!

KindleBoards is a Kindle Fan and reader forum. As you browse KindleBoards, keep in mind that self-promotion, of any sort, is ONLY allowed in the Book Bazaar. (You've posted your book thread in the right place; this is just our standard reminder. :))

A brief recap of our rules follows:

--Please bookmark this thread (using your browser's bookmark/favorite function) so you can update it as we ask that authors have only one thread per book and add to it when there is more information. You may start a separate thread for each book (or you may have one thread per series of books, or one thread for all of your books, it's your choice).

--We invite you to use your book cover as your avatar and have links to your book and website in your signature. Instructions are posted here

--While you may respond to member posts to your thread at any time, you may only bump your thread (back-to-back posts by you) once every seven days. Once you've responded to a member, that resets the clock to zero and you must wait seven days to post, unless another member posts before then. You may modify the latest post to reflect new information.

--We ask that Amazon reviews not be repeated here as they are easy to find at your book link. Also, full reviews from other sites should not be posted here, but you may post a short blurb and a link to the full review instead.

--Although self-promotion is limited to the Book Bazaar, our most successful authors have found the best way to promote their books is to be as active throughout KindleBoards as time allows. This is your target audience--book lovers with Kindles! Please note that putting link information in the body of your posts constitutes self promotion; please leave your links for your profile signature that will automatically appear on each post. For information on more ways to promote here on KindleBoards, be sure to check out this thread:
Authors: KindleBoards Tips & FAQ.

All this, and more, is included in our Forum Decorum: http://www.kboards.com/index.php/topic,36.0.html. Be sure to check it from time to time for the current guidelines and rules.

Oh, and one more thing: be sure to check out the index threads at the top of the Book Bazaar. . . .there are details there about how you can be listed so that our readers can find you.

Thanks for being part of KindleBoards! Feel free to send us a PM if you have any questions.

Thanks for watching!

As I write my "Devolution Chronicles" series, I'm also creating music video book trailers that give readers a sample of my story and music. My band is called Earamas http://www.earamas.com/ ; we write music for TV and motion pictures, and decided to create our our property for a Sci-Fi development project. We've got a free iPhone app "Earamas" if you want to sample more - http://bit.ly/jfsrPL

My ultimate goal is a movie or video game deal to compliment the eBook series.

Here's how I make the book trailers (more on my "Earamas" channel on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/earamas ):

I begin by writing the "2 minute" voiceover storyline and recording it using GarageBand on Mac. Some character artwork I have developed using a concept artist, but I license most of the video clips and still from Shutterstock.com to tell the visual story. I then drop it into iMovie to create and refine the video sequences along with the voice over. Lastly, I write and record the music (along with my music partner) and remix the voice over and the music tracks to sync with the video.

Hopefully, the viewer will remember the storyline and have the music bubbling around in the back of their head.

Happy to share!

5 Star reviewed Rise of the Chimera, soundtrack for The Devolution Chronicles.

http://www.reverbnation.com/tunepak/3455777

"Gary Wayne Clark and Glen Dale Spreen are brilliant composers and undisputed geniuses behind the controls of a sound board. Rise of the Chimera is powerful, haunting, beautiful and unique. The sound quality is astounding and this is an album that can be listened to many times, each time yielding some new and previously undiscovered treasure."
