This is my first time posting on here, so sorry if this is not the right forum. I recently wrote my first book and would love if anyone would buy it or gives me some feedback on the plot.

The story is about a sixty-mile length ship named “The Madness” which has set sail from a land simply called “Liberty”. The setting is a dystopian society centered around imperialism and the destruction of individuality and freedom. The citizens (“fishermen”) live poorly in various precincts, while the leaders of the ship, under the direction of their Captain (a godlike figure), live in a large tower surrounded by a vast stone maze. The leaders, called “the Provocateurs”, all wear theatre masks and snake-skin suits so that no one may know their true identities. They have convinced the masses that the citizens are the righteous chosen ones destined to conquer the sea and enforce ‘their’ new moral standards. The people have willingly given up the notion of liberty in favor of government control and forced, unfair egalitarianism. Because of this, any language or action deemed divisive or unrighteous is severely outlawed.

The story centers around a young criminal who attempts to find himself amidst the oppressive regime. A criminal at first, he later decides to join the Madness’s army and destroy any ship which does not submit to their rule. After heightening his status, he then decides to become a Provocateur himself and discovers the lies which they perpetuate.
