Do you like zombie movies?

Then you'll like this book.

Below, you'll find the official amazon description and the link to the Kindle version of the book, but here's the elevator pitch for The Dying of the Light: End:

The sole survivor of a zombie massacre hooks up with a secret military unit that has been dedicated to killing zombies for the last 120 years and tries to stop the end of the world.

And there's two more books after that (coming SoonTM).

It's had good reviews - and more are coming as people finish it, since it was just released on May 19th. My first non-friend review was four stars, and he hasn't even finished the book yet. It's got great pacing and character development, and plenty of action.

The most common description of the book I've had from the 120+ people who've bought it is that it reads like you're watching a zombie movie. To me, that's great news, because that's exactly what I was going for.

So check out a sample, and if you like that, pick up the full Kindle edition. After all, it's only $4. And that's less than even a small Starbucks these days. :)

All I ask is that if you do read the book, you give it an honest review on Amazon. Reviews = sales = sequels written faster, so it's a win/win for everyone!

Thanks for your time!

The Dying of the Light: End

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I didn't see Rebecca die the second time."
The United States military hides a secret: the completely real existence of eat-your-brains, one-bite-and-you're-dead zombies. The Army has known they exist for over a hundred years, and has been quietly and expertly keeping the secret.
Until now.
His hometown destroyed, with everyone he has ever known dead and gone, the sole survivor of the massacre at Fall Creek joins a secret military group to combat the single greatest threat our world has ever faced. Unfortunately, his help may come too late. Even as victories over the walkers mount, the seeds of our ultimate doom are sown from within, and at the last, only a brave few may survive to carry on.
Jason-
Welcome to KindleBoards and congratulations on your book!
A brief recap of our rules follows:
--We invite you to use your book cover as your avatar and have links to your book and website in your signature. Instructions are posted here
--Please bookmark this thread (using your browser's bookmark/favorite function) so you can update it as we ask that authors have only one thread per book and add to it when there is more information. You may start a separate thread for each book (or you may have one thread per series of books, or one thread for all of your books, it's your choice).
--While you may respond to member posts to your thread at any time, you may only bump your thread (back-to-back posts by you) once every seven days. Once you've responded to a member, that resets the clock to zero and you must wait seven days to post, unless another member posts before then.
--We ask that Amazon reviews not be repeated here as they are easy to find at your book link. Also, full reviews from other sites should not be posted here, but you may post a short blurb and a link to the full review instead.
--Although self-promotion is limited to the Book Bazaar, our most successful authors have found the best way to promote their books is to be as active throughout KindleBoards as time allows. This is your target audience--book lovers with Kindles! Please note that putting link information in the body of your posts constitutes self promotion; please leave your links for your profile signature that will automatically appear on each post. Been awhile since I've been back here, so I thought I'd update this posting.
The Dying of the Light: End has at the time of this post sold 158 Kindle copies (318 across all editions) in just 47 days. Its rank fluctuates between 7 and 10k on a daily basis.
It's sitting at a strong 4.6 out of 5 stars, with 22 reviews: 14 5-star and 8 4-star.
One reviewer called it "The best zombie book since World War Z...".
It's only $4 on Kindle, and if you haven't read it, now is the time!
The Dying of the Light: End is fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat, can't-put-it-down zombie apocalypse novel. Many readers have reported wee-hours reading sessions from being unable to stop reading the book.
I expect to pass the 500 mark tomorrow or the next day, which says a lot about a book that's only been out for 63 days.
It's available on Amazon or my website in print, on GoodReads as an ePub, and on the Kindle, Nook, and Kobo in ebook format. Only $4 on Kindle!
