My wife has the original Kindle and I have a K2.  Both Kindles are in her name on Amazon.  However the archive files do not show on her home page.  Mine shows 24 titles.  I have some books that she doesn't have so she should have an archive file.  Anyone else have this problem?

Thanx

John

PS.  Just went online to see whether an archive file would be loaded.  I also tried the "sync and check for items" but that did nothing.

K1 does not have an archive file.  It actually just lists every book that you download from Amazon.
Hope that helps

John, go to menu-content manager; scroll up to show and sort choose Amazon content , and it will show what is stored at amazon but not on the K1. You can select what you want to transfer from there by clicking next to the title to put an x in the box, then go down to menu again, click and choose move  to Kindle memory. Definitely more steps than what it takes on the K2 :D
