Good evening fine folks.

New to the world of eBooks...full time teacher, part time writer, full time Hyperborean Wanderer.

Popped a short story up to see what comes of it.

Looking forward to meeting cool new Kindle-Buddies!

I would like to blame the beer but since I have only had one, that will not be a valid excuse.

I have been to both Alaska and Canada but must profess confusion as to the reference...

Kathy, Cheerio, and Addie I thank you for your welcome.

Where can one find the water cooler around here?

Welcome, SpinyNorman!

Our version of a water cooler is the Not Quite Kindle board. If you mean that in the context of where everyone hangs out at the office to discuss & give opinions on a large variety of topics.

Hi Spiny - I think Ann is trying to figure out just where you reside, when you do reside.

Yep the water cooler is definitely Not Quite Kindle and you can get all sorts of opinions there,  good, bad, and ugly and helpful  :D  We also have the Book Bazaar where new authors can tout their own work, you might check that out since you are a sometimes writer.

Nice to have you here BTW

SpinyNorman?  As in, the Pirahana brothers? That's one of my favorite Monty Python sketches!

I LOVE that I have found a community where TWO people know the origin of my name...that's seven levels of AWESOME!!

"Dinsdale was a gentleman and what'e more, he knew how to treat a female impersonator!"

(No...I am not a female impersonator...Monty Python fans will get it)
