Funny part is, I know I'm not alone here.  :)

Mind Slide is done.  I'm letting it sit for a few weeks, then I'll go about editing myself, and getting a few beta readers to tell me what they think.

In the meantime, it's time to start on the next one.

I didn't want to.  I wanted to take a break, maybe read something.  But it's in my head.  Scenes keep coming, more ideas, more cool "powers" to give to my main character, who is a witch.

So, I HAVE to write.  Bah.  :)  So much for reading.

I always try to take a break but can't... when I finished The Devil's Weekend, I told myself I'd take the weekend and chill out.  Let my mind clear, etc.  I ended up watching Friday the 13th movies all weekend with two notebooks and folder of information for my next novel... I held off starting typing until that Monday, but all weekend long I worked on it... haha!

I guess writers will be writers...

Someone said, "Being a writer is like having homework every night."

Even if you finish one story there is always another one to write.
