... but to be honest, I'm actually rather happy. Wolf Hunt has been available for barely three weeks. None of the book review sites have had a look at it so far; most I've queried haven't even responded yet. Promotion measures like banners are all scheduled, but since they tend to be overbooked, it won't be until autumn until the first begin to run. And I'm an unknown writing in a niche genre (alternate history). Yes, as a matter of fact, I'm happy. :)

Nice so far.  Good to see you have a plan ready to go to with reviews, banners, etc.

Now... getting writing the next book!  haha  ;D

Not too shabby starting out. Keep working on it, and get a second book out, and it'll jump again. Even 4 sales a day, and you're gonna cross 120 copies or so, and maybe another 80 on the second book. Then get a third out, and a fourth...

:)
Thanks. I'm working on it, Mr. Half-Orc, but I doubt I'll ever match your speed. ;)

Two sales a day at your price is over $150 a month (assuming some of those sales will be overseas sales at a lower rate of return) -- which is $1800 a year.  Which, frankly, is as good as most midlist books will get from traditional pubishing (and you get to keep your book in print longer than the few years most publishers will keep it available).

AND... I suspect you're quoting Amazon-only numbers.  Or does that include Smashwords, B&N, Apple, etc.?  Do you have a paper version out?  You have growth in front of you young fella.

Two a day? Heck I would be strutting around like a peacock if I had that. I have not been around long. But still since December of last year for my first book I am thrilled to see a sale at all. LOL!

So Congrats!  ;D
