Page-turning - on Kindle 2

Looks like the page-turning buttons click "inward" rather than outward, to avoid unintended page turning:

"The page-turn buttons now flex inward to prevent any accidental page turns when picking up or handling Kindle."

What do you think?

I think it means that they require more pressure to activate.

I cannot tell.

I imagine that there will eventually be the same complaints. As long as the buttons are on the side, where people want to hold it, they will continue to accidentally click those buttons.

If you look at the Sony, the buttons are not really on the side at all.

I don't have a problem with mine, because I hold it at the bottom.

I guess we will see.

Also sounds like it will be somewhat less intuitive. I've never clicked a button inward, I don't know about you.
I like the inward idea, as long as it doesn't require too much pressure to activate.
Does that mean pushing up instead of pushing down?  I can't see that working for me.  And the buttons look very small.

Don't mind me.  I never intended to get the K2 unless it took out the trash and washed the kitchen floor.

*Chuckle!* You're nicer than me, I wanted to wait until it did the laundry and scrubbed the tub.
After watching the videos a few times, what it means is the buttons themselves now depress towards the screen instead of towards the edge.  The pivot point is now on the outside edge. Does that make sense?
Sounds like it might not be as ergonomic, you wouldn't be able to just rest your thumb on the edge and slightly depress it.

I really really don't like that. Seems like it would be more uncomfortable.
