I think they are referring to royalties accrued before you changed your payment method. I'm. In the US and my foreign royalties are sent in USD via ETF. How supremely frustrating for you after all the troubles you've had receiving the checks.
That's good to know (not good about it happening to you - but good about me knowing about itdotx said:Yes, they're talking about royalties from before you changed your payment method to EFT. Same thing happened to me.
Thanks. The problem is not with them sending the cheques - it's with me not receiving themNissim-Payoneer said:I'm sorry to hear that. I hope they're able to resolve the issue and get your checks sent out as soon as possible!
I've asked them to send a cheque to cover the royalties owing, and if it doesn't arrive then can they send another one to an address in the UK. Their latest billet-doux says they will get back to me by 28th Decemberkatherinef said:They can't change the currency after the invoices have been generated? Really? Now I'm glad I didn't earn enough for a check before I switched to EFT. Of course, my first Amazon.de payment didn't include the royalties before the switch to EFT, so Amazon told me they'd add those royalties to the next payment. I guess they don't have a problem changing the currency if you haven't earned enough for a check, so I don't get it why they just don't cancel your check and send you the royalties via EFT next time. You'd maybe lose a bit on conversion, but at least you'd get the money.
