What is the best way to get Amazon to set a book to permafree at the moment?

In the past, I would make the book wide using D2D and then set the price to free on Apple and that would be enough. But it's a long time since I made a book permafree. Is that still the best method?

Does the price matching still happen automatically, or do you have to contact Amazon to get them to price match?

(Please note I'm not soliciting opinions on the relative merits of permafree as a sales strategy)

Thank you!

I think it's still the only way to do it, but you might need to click on the 'tell them a lower price button' on the product page and you might have to write to them via the contact link as well.

I love your covers, btw.  ;)
