I'm a photographer for a local Humane Society and we've been batting around the idea of a photograph driven book project about adopting shelter animals.  Sort of a Chicken Soup for the Soul only about animals and with lots of photos.  ;)  I know I only read kindle books on my regular kindle which doesn't display photos very well, so I'm wondering if this is a project worth pursuing or if ebook readers don't have much use for photography driven books.  If anyone has experience, I'd love to hear it.

I have a Fairy Tales Coloring Book that I've only put out on CreateSpace, because I think an eformat would be totally useless.

Photographs may come across  beautifully on a tablet, but on a B&W ereader screen, it would be horrible.

There are some ebooks formatted for tablets only.
The main question is do the photos look good in black and white?  I have seen some good photos and illustrations in ebooks and I have seen some bad ones.  Monet's "The Woman in the Green Dress" does not show up very well.  Or it could be that author's resolution.
I hope this helps.
