I bought a copy of one of my titles that I hadn't purchased yet, and the sale hasn't showed up 30 minutes later. But I also haven't gotten the purchase receipt email from amazon, either. So processing does seem delayed.

For me, they have been coming in batches since yesterday evening, every 2-3 hours or so...
Maybe you'll get a batch sometime this morning.

I've always heard that the "real-time-ish-ness" of your stats are random, based on which server you happen to be hitting. So... just assume you're on the slow server.

I am having MAJOR problems with sales recording (has been going on since early February, actually). Amazon is apparently having pretty major issues with one (or more) of its servers. I cannot begin to tell you how frustrating this has been. However, with the high volume of sales you will definitely have from your promo, I'm pretty certain your sales will have to start appearing pretty soon. If they don't, definitely e-mail Amazon. Reading a confirmation that it's issues on their part will make you feel better (though not by much). Hold tight!

A few have trickled in ( though still not the sale for the other book that I purchased myself, that one's numbers haven't moved)

But I am hoping that I've sold more than 4 today, so I am thinking maybe the 4 that trickled in were the stuff from before the promo posted, and the rest will show up.

My ranking hasn't updated at all today, either. I won't panic yet.

Well I did have sales overnight, but after moving at a good pace yesterday, and having a few borrows and sales before 8am CST, I've had nothing since. Kind of strange that it just stopped entirely. However, I never assume they are stuck anymore. lol. Usually when I do, I never do get that 'surge' as it unsticks.

I've had that frustrating notice since February 1st that the ranking has not been recorded since that date and the notice remains in place today. I agree that there are some major hiccoughs going on. Trying to stay zen about it. Good luck on the BoTD.

My ranking hasn't updated at all today, either. I won't panic yet.

The opposite has been happening for me for at least a week or so. I see movement in my sales rank indicating I've had a sale but nothing shows up in sales for hours or days.

This is happening for me right now. My ranking dropped but I have no new sales showing, so now I'm not sure if the ranking is slow in reflecting the sales I had yesterday or if the sales reporting hasn't updated yet for sales I had today...

KWalker: I had the ENT BoTD last month and I didn't start to see good sales until later in the day. Early evening, things really picked up, and carried through the next day. Of course that could be due to when KDP updates sales.... In any case, hang on, chin up.

I bought my book this morning at 7:30 am and it still hasn't been recorded at 2:46 pm.  So, if nothing else there is a lag.

FWIW I always have severe lag when I purchase my own books for a final check. I usually don't get the receipt until 8 hours later, and the sale shows up about 10 hours later.

I've published seven works so far this year and it's been the same for all of them.

I'm willing to believe that it's lagging though...simply because I haven't had a single sale on Amazon in two days, and that's bizarre.

Sales have begun to creep in, though no where near what I'd hoped for from this promotion.

The sale I made myself showed as well, finally.

Rank hasn't budged all day though.

If Amazon is having major server problems, then that sounds about right to me.  I had book banned by the almighty Zon a month and a half ago.  A sale for the banned title suddenly showed up last week.  Not only does that appear to be server problems, it may mean Amazon's having to employ specialized data recovery on a dead hard drive somewhere.

My sales at US are at a standstill. Have been for two days. But I thought that was because either a] everybody in the US who's likely to buy them, has already bought them or b] they're now so effectively hidden by algorithms, lack of tagging, skewed also-boughts etc that nobody will ever see them again to buy them!

But if reports really are stuck, that gives me hope they might unstick!

UK not great, but there's still a trickle. And even got a Canadian sale this morning too, so all not lost!
