Please vote whilst you're here, it only takes a second!

Its probably worth mentioning that there are books (though not actually ebooks) already that use the phrases:

In the heat of the Kitchen
The Ungarnished Truth
Out of the frying pan
If you cant stand the heat

So I dont know if that should rule them out?

I would love suggestions of combinations!

I would probably vote for something like, A Cook's Tale: The Ungarnished Truth, rather than just "Ungarnished."

I tend to think that memoirs' titles should have some relation to the book itself, however tangential, rather than being picked just because they're... snazzy.

Is there some punchline or catchphrase or something like that you can use? "Ungarnished" is kind of... generic, whereas something like "Gone Slightly Off" or "The Alleged Steak" or "The Creme Fraiche Incidents" or, heh, "The Trouble With Truffles" - if they actually have some connection with an anecdote in the book - are much more memorable.

But that's just me talking, and I have a book titled "Unmarketable Dross", so you should possibly take any title advice from me with a large sprinkle of salt. :)

Forked Up, simply because it sounds most like it relates directly to cooking.
