Well we were excited to have our kindle 3, especially my son. But I have problem getting the Kindel to open the ebooks he borrowed from the local library. Calibre doesn't help because of the DRM.
So my question is: will there ever be a legal way to read DRM epub or pdf on Kindle 3?
Thanks
M

Just came across 116 Open (no DRM) ePub ebooks on Philadelphia Free Library - Overdrive.  (It is now $45 per year for an out of area Internet membership. Was $15 last year.)  These books would allow you to legally change the format to Mobi using the Calibre program and then install them on your Kindle.  Sure would be nice if more DRM free books are allowed on Overdrive, but it is a start.
