The husband of our office manager (who is also a good friend) is in need of prayers. Lloyd is only 55, and he suffered a stroke this morning. He was at work, which is fortunate because he was taken to the hospital quickly and was given the clot-busting meds. He is still in very serious condition and it may be several days till they know the extent of the damage.

Family is traveling in and all of the family needs prayer.  Thank you.

My prayers and thoughts are there. It is so hard for the family.  I lost my Mother the day after Mother's day this year.  It was really bad because it was also the day after I got back from Vacation. She was only 66. Hope he recovers with minimal residual of the stroke.

I will pray for Lloyd. Earlier this year, our small department (like family) in a large firm lost a dear coworker to heart failure. It happened while he was sitting at his desk, and all of us were right there, wishing we could do something as the first responders, and then the EMTs, worked to save him. This is never easy, but it definitely helps knowing that his family (both at work and at home) is not alone in this.
Survival and recovery are very possible. Our good energy goes out to Lloyd and his loved ones.

Thank you everyone! No much to report today. He was somewhat combative, trying to rip out tubes and catheter, but still not really awake and eyes open for only a minute at a time. When his son who lives several hours away got there, he seemed to be giving him a stern look - like "You should not be here!" which they hope showed recognition. It is still a waiting game. The family is appreciative of any and all prayers.
